Condominium Units
Are you located on the beach?
Yes. Midnight Pass Road running North and South of Siesta Key has lodgings on both sides of the road. We are located on the West side of Midnight Pass. Once you park in our garage, you head straight for the boardwalk, and in minutes, you are on the beach. You may view our location on our “Contact” page.
When is check-in?
On Saturdays, the change-over day, check in is at 3 PM. Guests may register at the front desk any time after 8 AM and use the facility, parking and the beach. Keys will be given out ONLY after 3 PM. If a guest is renting a partial week (not a Saturday arrival), they may check in any time between 9 AM and 5 PM.
When is check-out?
To expedite housekeeping and maintenance duties on Saturdays, check out is 10:00 AM. If a guest needs to leave earlier than Saturday, check out is 10:00 AM.
What is the rental policy?
The Sandpiper leases units year round and prices vary depending on the seasons. We request a security deposit from the renter, to be paid within 10 days of booking. We request the full amount of the rental 60 days before arriving at the Sandpiper. Within 14 days after the visit, the Sandpiper will mail to the renter their security deposit. Cancellation less than 60 days before arrival, the renter will forfeit their full rental payment. Sandpiper will refund the security deposit. If the unit gets re-rented at the same price, the first renter will be refunded the full rental payment and security deposit.
What kind of payment do you accept?
The Sandpiper accepts cash or bank or personal checks. We are not set up for credit card service.
How does one purchase a unit?
View the “Timeshare Resales” page for a list of available units. Use one of the contact methods to reach an office staff member who will put you in touch with the Sales Department.

What does my unit look like?
On the “About” page when you scroll down, you will see photos of our facility. Click on different areas of the floorplan below to see photos of a gulf front unit and the décor and layout of each room. All gulf view units share the same décor but have a slightly smaller floorplan.

What items come standard in the unit?
Kitchen items for cooking and serving, including a cheese slicer, pizza cutter, whisk, grapefruit knife, ice bucket, coffee maker, toaster and blender. Both bathrooms have two sets of hand and bath towels, wash cloths and mat. The Master bathroom has one hair dryer. The iron, ironing board and vacuum are in the guest bedroom.
Is smoking permitted in the unit?
No. You may smoke outside on the lanai. We provide an ashtray.
Are service animals allowed on the property?
Yes. Proper documentation must be sent to the Sandpiper before arrival date.

What amenities do you have on the property?
On our “About” page, scroll down to see photos and descriptions of our units, gym, conference room, pool and picnic area and ball court.
Is there access to the internet?
You can access Wi-Fi in each unit. On floor one, we have a conference room that has a computer, with access to the internet.
Do you have laundry facilities?
We supply a washer and dryer in every unit.
Where is the ice machine?
On floor one, toward the east, before you arrive at the tennis court.
Is access to the beach always available?
The Sandpiper’s boardwalk to the beach has a high fence with a padlocked door. The door to the beach is opened at 7 AM and closed at 11 PM.
Do you have any beach services?
We offer a beach umbrella service for $45 per umbrella, per week. The maintenance crew will set up and take down the umbrellas. You may drag the high chairs and lounges from the boardwalk to your umbrellas. Or, for a fee, the maintenance crew can add chairs to your umbrella each day so you don’t have to.
What beach items are available?
Umbrella and cabana service is available through our maintenance crew. Bocce ball, shuffle board cues, volley ball, and other court balls, and corn hole sacks can be obtained at the front office. Guests can borrow Boogie boards, noodles and sand toys. Beach towels are available for rent at $3.00 per week.
How many vehicles can be parked in the garage?
Two per unit. The owner has a parking pass. If they have a guest staying with them or visiting from the area and have a vehicle, they get another pass.
Are boats and trailers allowed on the property?
No boats, trailers, or jet skis are allowed on the property.
Can I have my wedding at the Sandpiper Beach Club?
Owners and people who rent units may enjoy the perfect setting to say “I do!”
Does the Sandpiper provide food for my wedding?
No. Just the setting! We are associated with companies that provide photography, catering, music, and officiators.
